Purpose

The purpose of this document is to cover a new functionality which has been introduced in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Release 9.1 Update 2. This functionality simplifies the reconciliation process between Inventory and G/L.

 Question 1: If a transaction exists only in Item Ledger (F4111) with no General Ledger (F0911) record (error 3036: "No existing General Ledger records"), how can you reconcile an open JE to the item ledger transaction record? Should the Inventory Flag (GPF1) in F0911 be set to 1 for the new JE to be visible in the screen P41500?
 Question 2: If a user adds a value of 20,000,000.00 as a tolerance limit in the processing option tab default, the system always defaults back to 9999999. Why can a user not put any value in the tolerance limit option that exceeds 7 size digit number?
 Question 3: Is the Inventory to G/L Reconciliation Process designed to handle the AAIs related with Work Order Variances (3220, 3240, 3260, 3270 and 3280))?
